The incident took place in Gazipaşa district of Antalya last August. Abdulkerim Gürbüz, who is a livestock breeder, went to the barn to give feed and water to his animals while preparing for a picnic with his friend. Suspecting that the barn door was open, Gürbüz saw that G.E. sexually assaulted the two-month-old calf when he entered. Seeing Gürbüz entering the barn, G.E. panicked and tried to pull off his pants.
THE RECEIVED DNA IS COMPATIBLE OUTPUT
Detained by the gendarmerie teams G.E. did not accept the accusation. The suspect alleged that he entered the barn to take care of the poultry-harming dog. The samples taken from the suspect G.E and the calf were sent to the Gendarmerie Criminal Department. In the results, it was stated that DNA taken from the calf was compatible with G.E.’s DNA.
Stating that he was very sorry to have experienced such an incident, Abdulkerim Gürbüz said, “I saw that G.E. sexually assaulted my calf. It was reported by the prosecutor that this was not punished. I want the person to be punished so that nobody can do this action again. ”
Caught raping the dog! The allegations froze blood!
Gazipaşa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office decided that G.E. did not commit the crime of “damaging property”, that it was punished with an administrative fine according to the Animal Protection Law, and that there was no need to prosecute on behalf of the public. Abdulkerim Gürbüz, the owner of the calf, and animal lovers reacted to the decision.
SEXUAL ATTACK IS CLEAR AND CLEAR
Antalya Bar Association Animal Rights Board President Lawyer Alev Arsan stated that the decision was wrong and said: In the swap samples taken by the Gendarmerie Criminal Laboratory, the DNA samples of the suspect G.E. match the DNA samples in the samples taken from the calf. In other words, sexual assault on the calf by the suspect is clearly documented. We objected to this erroneous decision, and filed an additional criminal complaint due to the violation of home immunity and the crime of shameless acts due to the incomplete qualification.
